WE DELIVER CRAFT BEER ACROSS BRISTOL AND THE UK

 
 

Click & Collect:

Place your order online and choose 'click & collect' at checkout. We'll pack your order right away and send you a confirmation email. Your order will be ready to pick up during our shop opening hours. Due to space constraints, orders must be collected within 10 days unless by prior arrangement, after this time the stock will be allocated back into stock and sold. We of course will then refund the cost on request.

DELIVERY FEE:

We charge a standard shipping fee of £7.50 for orders to the UK mainland outside of Bristol (please see restrictions and surcharges below). We use the Parcelforce 24hr services, as we believe they offer the best service. Though we cover part of the cost to keep it as low as possible, it may still work out slightly more expensive than some other courier services – however, it offers your purchases the best chance of arriving in one piece!

 

DELIVERING FRESH BEER:

At Beer Necessities we believe in only selling fresh beer which is cold stored here at the shop, to avoid that beer sitting in warm warehouses over the weekend any orders placed after 11am on a Thursday will be dispatch on the Monday after for delivery. Although this slows things down slightly we believe it means you get the product in the right condition. 

Parcelforce will provide you with tracking information and options should you need to rearrange delivery. Any questions regarding your delivery, please get in touch.

 

ZONAL CHARGES:

Zonal surcharging applies for the following postcodes:

Zone 2 - £10

The Highlands and Islands of Scotland – postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78,

PH17- 26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE.

Zone 3 - £14

Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly – postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25.

Please note that we classify the Channel Islands as an international destination.

Parcels despatched for delivery to an address in Zone 2 or 3 are subject to a surcharge.

 

Free UK Shipping: 

All orders over £60 have free next weekday shipping (UK Mainland Only excluding Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland).

 

International Shipping:

We currently do not ship outside the UK but please feel free to get in touch and we will see what we can do and provide a quote.

 

Packaging:

We use thick walled cardboard boxes and paper padding for most orders - we try to avoid plastic where possible but will sometimes reuse bubble wrap and biodegradable chips made from vegetable starch which will dissolve in front of your eyes if they are put under a running tap. 

 

Returns:

Very occasionally, an order may arrive damaged due to courier mishandling. We prefer to refund on these rare occasions rather than use more wasteful packaging on every delivery. If your delivery arrives damaged, please send us a photo of the package and broken contents and we will arrange a refund or, if practical, a replacement.

If you're unhappy with your delivery, please contact us via email within seven working days after it's received. The items must be returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days from the date of delivery of your order. We will refund the value of your order minus any discounts and delivery charges. Ensuring the safe return of the package and postage cost will be the responsibility of you, the customer. 

 

TITLE:

Title is retained with The Beer Necessities Ltd until payment in full is received, and until you, the customer, takes final delivery of the goods.

We make every effort to supply goods as shown on our web site, however occasionally we do have to substitute beers for an alternative of equal or greater value, where a valid substitute is available. In the event this needs to happen, we will always attempt to contact you first.
