Pilton 24 Moons
24 Moons starts with a two year barrel-aged blackcurrant wine, originally pressed in 2018 and aged in an ex-whisky barrel since then. To this we have added a vintage dry cider that was aged in one of Yonder Brewing's mixed-ferm barrels, and this has added a delicate texture and a savoury character. Finally these tart and sour elements have then been lifted by the natural sweetnees from a generous dash of our new season keeved cider.
Glorius fresh fruit aroma on the nose. Followed by gentle acidity, balanced by soft keeved sweetness, with lots of barrel character on the long finish.

ABOUT THIS BREWERY
We are artisan producers at the heart of Somerset’s cider-land making whole juice sparkling cider by the old English method of keeving.
Apples are collected from traditional cider orchards in and around the parish of Pilton and slowly fermented for six months in our cool Victorian cellar before bottling.
