Trillium Fated Farmer: Nectarine
Trillium Fated Farmer: Nectarine
Our Fated Farmer Series is a landmark step toward realizing our foundational vision for Trillium: Build a place that intuitively celebrates the intersection of New England farming, agriculture, brewing and an integrated community experience. The grist of each of the dynamic Fated Farmer wild ales is set on the structure of Valley Malt and is barrel fermented in 500L puncheons with our Native New England Wild Culture and aged for 5-7 months, before refermenting on freshly harvested fruit.
Fresh nectarines sourced from Lookout Farm in nearby Natick, Massachusetts lend this rendition of Fated Farmer a refreshing, lightly handed stone fruit profile. A bright nose of citrus peel, dried apricot, stone fruit is followed by a delicate, balanced palate that dives in and out with light notes of nectarine flesh, candied orange, pink grapefruit and an intriguing funk. A low to moderate clean lactic acidity, some light tannic structure coupled with a lively carbonation provides a zippy finish.

ABOUT THIS BREWERY
Trillium Brewing was founded in March of 2013 by JC and Esther Tetreault with the desire to create a New England Farmhouse-inspired experience through the lens of craft beer. Launched with three employees and the support of family, friends, and community, our little brewery located at 369 Congress Street in Boston’s then-sleepy Fort Point neighbourhood has grown to a team of nearly 300. Every member of our organisation has incredible drive and purpose, working passionately each day to elevate the quality of the Trillium experience. Beer is at the centre of everything we do, and a few core values have always driven the approach to our portfolio: the desire to continue pushing boundaries of experimentation with education, keeping a focus on hospitality by attempting to offer a wide range of styles for a diverse audience, and keeping our team excited and always-learning. With hundreds of unique offerings available each year, we take pride in the diversity and breadth of beer that we produce. With two year-round locations in the Fort Point and Fenway neighbourhoods, as well as a seasonal beer garden on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, Boston is the heart of our operations. Our production brewery and taproom in Canton and our soon-to-be operational farm in North Stonington, Connecticut round out our five current locations. In the coming years, visitors to Canton will enjoy our ‘forever home’, Located minutes from the current location, and will include a larger taproom and brewery.
